Allen Ray Beaugh, age 68, of Warren, TX passed on Saturday, October 15, 2022. A retired truck driver, he was born in Port Arthur, TX on December 15, 1953.

Ray was a self-taught musician, carpenter, woodsman, and avid fisherman. The real pride and joy of his life was his son Adam, and that pride only grew with the birth of each grandson. He had a true love for his corner of land in East Texas, and instilled in his son an appreciation for trees, creeks, and all things outdoors. Ray worked hard and played hard. He was a valuable friend to many and a bigger than life legend to his three grandsons.

Left to honor his memory is his son, Adam Beaugh and wife, Jenna, of Greenville, SC; brother, Boyd Swearingen and wife, Myra, of Magnolia, TX; sister, Christine Horn of Warren, TX; adored grandsons, Grayson, Luke, and Brooks, and was expecting another grandchild in May of 2023. Also, mother of his son, Nancy Hatton of Spurger, TX, and many loved relatives, friends and extended family members, as well as his beloved dog, Dirk.

Preceding Ray in death are his parents, C.W. Swearingen and Susie Hartner Swearingen.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, October 21, 2022, from 5:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657.
