Funeral services for Jo Ann Banks of Calhoun will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Jo Ann retired from Safeway as a butcher. She was a member of First West Baptist Church. Jo Ann loved to travel and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Camille Acree; her husband Billy Ray Banks; son-in-law Mike Henry; sister Margie Acree and her brother Bill Acree.
Jo Ann is survived by her 2 daughters Sandra Calhoun and husband Michael, Sissy Henry; son Billy Banks Jr. and wife Kelly; 2 sisters Gay Southern and Linda Simpson and husband Roger; brother Charles Acree; 5 grandchildren Tony Henry and wife Stephanie, Toby Calhoun, Hannah Beckham, Elizabeth Thurman and husband Cody, Wesley Banks and fiancé Sydney; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
