Memorial service for Catherine "Mama Cat" Kilgore, 78, will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Four Mile United Methodist Church in Jacksonville with the Rev. Frank Canada officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Ms. Kilgore passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at NHC in Anniston, after a brief illness. She is survived by five sons, Glenn (Kathy) Davis, of Alexandria, Jeff (Kim) Davis, of Jacksonville, Norman Kilgore, of Anniston, and Dan and Frank Kilgore, of Sherrill, New York; two daughters, Nora (Kevin) Conroy, of Syracuse, New York and Lolly (Rick) Millgate, of Sherrill, New York; a special sister, Louise Upshaw, of Anniston; two brothers, Joe Bonds, of Huntington, Arkansas and Andy (Helen) Bonds, of Piedmont; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Kilgore retired from Federal Mogul in 1994, where she was known as "Mama Cat" to all her little kittens she worked with. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Kilgore; her parents, Carl and Jennie Lou Bonds; and two brothers, Holly and Pittman Bonds.
