LANE, STANLEY SCOTT Passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

Born in Mt. Vernon, NY to parents Saul and Rachel Levine on May 2, 1919, the first of two sons. Stanley attended New York University prior to enlisting in the United States Navy during World War II, where he was awarded numerous medals and decorations. After proudly serving his country, in 1946, Stanley founded Debonair Belt in New York's Garment District. After retiring in 1967, Stanley relocated his family to North Miami Beach, FL. Over the past 40 years, Stanley developed many projects including Buenaventura Lakes (BVL) Kissimmee, Indian Lakes Estates, Lake Wales and Country Star, Homestead. In addition, Stanley served on the board of directors of TransFlorida Bank and was a board member of Temple Sinai of North Dade. Stanley was a generous and caring family man and an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all those who where blessed to be touched by him.

Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Millie Morciglio Lane, his partner for over 45 years; his children, Stewart Lane, NY, Jon Lane (Dawn) Davie, Victor Lane, Davie, Bonnie Lane Freeman (Jon), Hollywood, Donna Avila (Albert) Ft. Myers; grandchildren, Brenda Cooper (Fredy), Sandra Lane, Matthew Freeman, Dominic Lane, Danielle Freeman, Joshua Freeman, Brandon Lane and Aaron Lan; his brother Dr. Robert C. Lane (Jean); his brothers-in-law, Nelson Morciglio (Marianne) and William Morciglio, Cousin Saul Globerman (Martha); nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
