John Frederick Hansen of Eden Prairie MN was born July 12, 1929 and passed away October 8, 2019. He was born in Harmony, MN to Sam and Ella (Kraushaar) Hansen. John graduated from Minneapolis Central HS & Macalester College. He was in Army Special Services 1952-54 where he formed the Hut Four quartet that sang around the country & did 2 USO toursduring the Vietnam War. John was married on June 6, 1959. He taught in Edina elementary schools for 18 years, was a real estate agent & financial service planner. Music was a driving passion - John always had a song or joke.
Survived by wife, 2 daughters, 2 sons, 3 granddaughters . Preceded in death by parents, Sam and Ella Hansen, & sister Gretchen Quie.
