Mrs. Lucy Garman, aged 55, died at her home, 142 Blackman street, Sunday afternoon after a lingering illness. She is well known throughout the city, especially on the South Side, and has many friends, who will mourn her death. She is survived by her husband, Frank Garman, and the following children: Frank, John, Michael and William, of Wilkes-Barre; Philip, of Detroit, and Anna and Elizabeth, at home; also by two grandchildren. The funeral will take place from the family home Wednesday morning at 8:30 and at 9 o'clock a high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Boniface Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Hanover.
