Floyd Austin Clem, 83, died Saturday at heritage Hall Health care Center in Front Royal. The funeral will be held conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Front Royal by Dr. R. Mark Jordon and the rev. Dwight Wadsworth. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Clem was born March 11, 1913, in Warren County, son of t he late William Webster and Florence Rudacille Clem.

He retired from FMC Corp. and was employed at Shenandoah Fiberglass. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served on the USS Knox APA 46 on the Pacific and having received the Bronze Star. He was a life member of the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and American Legion Giles B. Cook Post 53.

He was the husband of the late Neva Brill Clem.

Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Moseley of front Royal and Frances Loy of Winchester.

Pallbearers will be Robin Cry, Warren Turner, Steve Ratcliffe, and Ronald Buracker.

Friends may call at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department, American Legion Giles B. Cook Post 53, Gary Keyser, C. E. Leadman, Junior Vaught, Greg Vaught and Jeff Vaught.
