Wanda J. Mass, age 81, of Council Bluffs, passed away October 25, 2022 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Wanda was born November 25, 1940 in Bethany, Missouri to the late Ray and Ermyl (Johnson) Leazenby. She married Ronald Mass on April 25, 1957 in Treynor, Iowa. They were blessed with three daughters, Ronda, Susan and Brenda. Wanda was a supervisor for Kmart for 21 years retiring in 2000.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Mass in 2013; daughter, Ronda Carter in 2011; granddaughter, Heather Wilson in 2022; sister, Mary Jane Bain and brothers, Gerald, Elvin, LaVern and Kenneth Leazenby.
Wanda is survived by 2 daughters, Susan (Rod) Wilson, Brenda (Jay) Cameron all of Council Bluffs; 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell (Lily), Monica Carter, Kristin (Chad) Breckenridge, Amanda Wilson, Alexis, Tyler, and Brandon Cameron, 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Christensen of Omaha; brothers, Van Leazenby of Council Bluffs, Ben (Dorothy) Leazenby of Amarillo, Texas; nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family, Thursday, 5-7 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Friday, 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery
