T. S. CROMWELL RITES AT JEFFERSON

Jefferson - Funeral services were held at the Slininger Chapel here Saturday afternoon for Thomas S. Cromwell, who died at the Green County Hospital in Jefferson Jan. 15. The Rev. Ellsworth L. Woods, pastor of Central Christian Church, officiated. Burial was in Hall (sic) Cemetery, Boone County.
Mr. Cromwell, son of Curtis and Minerva Cromwell, was born April 1, 1870, in Boone County. On Nov. 27, 1893, he was married to Lucinda VanCannon. With the exception of the past 10 years, which were spent in the homes of his daughters, Mr. Cromwell had lived in Boone County.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, three brothers, two sisters, one daughter, Becky Ann, one infant daughter and one grandson.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. F. H. Dobson, Jefferson; Mrs. Nora Olson, Swea City; Miss Jess Cromwell, Carroll; and Mrs. Kate Brown, Coon Rapids; three brothers, Ezekiel, Elmo, Mo.; Alfred, Seattle, Wash.; and Albert, of California; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Stoneburner, Boone; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
