Mattie spent many seasons of life as Assisstant Chief Telephone Operator at Bell-South Mobile now AT&T. In her spare time Mattie could be found working in her garden or tending to her flowers. She was a member of Audubon Park Baptist Church.
She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: nephew, Marion (Tammy) Beene of Memphis, TN; great nephew, Justin Beene of Memphis, TN; great niece, Lexie Beene of Memphis, TN.
Mattie is preceded in death by her husband, Boyce White; parents: Thomas Jefferson Landreth and Eunice Jenkins Landreth; sisters: Mildred Lewis and Betty Richardson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 02, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The funeral service celebrating Mattie's life will take place on Wednesday, November 02, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with Bro. Jimmy Pinkerton officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
