He was born August 30, 1979, in Deckerville the son of the late Robert Abend and Irene (Beauchamp) Abend.
Andrew attended Deckerville Community School graduating in 1999. He worked in various factories in the area and worked at odd jobs around the communities. He enjoyed canoeing, mud bogging, raising cats, and being with his friends.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Irene Abend of KY, two brothers, John (Lori) Abend of SC, Steven (Shena) Abend of Palms; one sister Nancy (Randy Bannach) Abend of KY; one niece Angel Abend and four nephews, John Pierre Abend, Robert Abend Bovee, Ralph Abend and Tyler Bannach; his x-wife Sharon Avery of Forestville and special friend Robin White of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Abend and his grandparents.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Andrew J. Abend will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 29, 2022, in the Apsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Rev. Peggy Jiggens will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday.
Memorials may be given to the family.
