Services for Adam Frank Barton, 25, of Hendersonville, N.C., who died Sunday at Brevard, N.C., from injuries received in a fall while hiking will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Reverends Phillip Horne and John Williams will officiate.

A native of Manchester, Conn., he had lived here before moving to Hendersonville, N.C.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Jane Towle Barton of Murfreesboro; a brother, Gary Barton of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Heather and Andrea Barton, both of Murfreesboro; grandparents, Mrs. Florence Barton of Murfreesboro and Mrs. Louise Towle of Sanford, Maine.

A member of the First United Methodist Church and 1981 graduate of Oakland High School, he had attended Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. today and from 7 to 9 tonight at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
