He was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Lewis County, a son of the late Roy and Mary Marks Arbogast.
Mr. Arbogast retired from the Army Department of Defense as a U.S. ammunition inspector after 32 years. He was Baptist by faith.
Mr. Arbogast was united in marriage to Garnett Yoak Arbogast, who preceded him in death.
Surviving is one sister, Lucille Burkhammer of Stouts Mills.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2001, at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., Glenville, with the Rev. Robert Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Grove Cemetery.
