He was a tennis pro for many years, managing tennis clubs in El Paso, Bossier City, and the Dallas area. As described by one of his teammates, "Dale was a very competitive, extremely talented tennis player and known around Texas for his ability." He played in many tournaments and won several awards. He continued giving private tennis lessons to kids even in his later years and maintained friendships with them. He leaves behind his longtime partner, Shari, brother Bob Glaze (Susie), sister Rita Sue Dale (Lawrence), sister-in-law Silvia, step grandchildren he loved as his own, and many friends to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Dean Glaze. It was his wish to be cremated. A family graveside service is pending in Hugo, OK.
