Johnnie Carroll Crotts was born on September 29, 1932 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John Calvin and Sallie B. Rickman Carroll.

On March 30, 1956, she was united in marriage to Douglas Elvin Crotts, who preceded his wife in death on February 24, 1988.

Mrs. Crotts worked as a sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Johnnie enjoyed cooking, playing solitaire, working outside, spending time with her family, and watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.

Johnnie Carroll Crotts departed this life on October 28, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years and 29 days.

She is survived by her sons, Kerry Crotts and his wife Dana and Kirk Crotts and his wife Dana; daughter, Kim Cook and her husband Bobby; grandchildren, Korey Goodman and his wife Jyssica, Kayla Jones and her husband Lucas, Kody Crotts and his wife Allie, Klay Crotts and his wife Alex, Kelsie Crotts, Cameron Crotts, Vincent Crotts, Chris Cook, and Cecile Bain; and great grandchildren, Journee Bain, Malachi Jones, Klara Goodman, Kix Goodman, Micah Jones, Kennedy Crotts, Kypton Crotts, Karoline Crotts, Kollyns Crotts, and Kullyn-Grace Goodman.

In addition to her husband and parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Carroll, Hayse Carroll, and Truman Carroll and half brother, Bonzie Carroll.
