BELLINGHAM Suzanne M. (Alexander) Auger, 56, of Bellingham, died Feb. 5, 2008, at home with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of 35 years of Denis A. Auger.
Born in Woonsocket, R.I., Aug. 18, 1951, she was a daughter of Kasimer Alexander of Woonsocket, R.I., and the late Claire D. (Berthiaume) Alexander.
Loving mother of Eric D. and his wife, Nicole Auger, of Woonsocket, R.I., and Nicole D. and her husband, Stephen Braley, of Bellingham; and granddaughter, Angelina S. Auger. Sister of Emery Alexander of Burrillville, R.I., Kasimer J. Alexander Jr. of Salisbury, Thomas J. Alexander of Blackstone, Richard E. Alexander of Sterling, Conn., Gail Enright of Artitale, Minn., Denise N. Dafonseca of Woonsocket, R.I., John M. Alexander of Woonsocket, R.I., Debra L. Durkin of Cumberland, R.I., and Barbara Eastman.
A resident of Bellingham for most of her life and formerly of Woonsocket, R.I., she was seafood manager at Stop & Shop in Milford for over 20 years. Suzanne was an avid cook and was the matriarch of the family, the neighborhood and friends and will be greatly missed. Mr. and Mrs. Auger were married Sept. 17, 1972, in St. Joseph Church, Woonsocket, R.I.
Funeral will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m., from Cartiers Funeral Home, 151 South Main St., Route 126, Bellingham, with a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket, R.I.
Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, R.I. Visiting hours Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Memorial donations to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, would be appreciated.
