Mary Louise Austin, 76, of Raeford, N.C., formerly of Reisterstown, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayettesville, N.C. Born Nov. 25, 1931, in Gamber, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Sr. and Mary H. Keeney Ward. She was the wife of Russell J. Austin. She was a 1949 graduate of Franklin High School. She had been a cafeteria manager at Cedarmere Elementary, part of Baltimore County Public Schools. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters Linda D. Nottingham of Hampstead and Barbara Jo Roche of Nolanville, Texas; and brothers Joseph F. Ward Jr. of White Horse and Donald L. Ward of Sykesville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, with the Rev. R. Eugene Funk officiating. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery in Gamber. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. (Carroll County Times - 2/5/2008)
