She worked in retail, clerical and the hotel business in her adult life, as well as being a dispatcher in the trucking industry, where she met her current husband at JB Hunt.
She retired at JB Hunt many years ago and has been a stay-at-home wife, taking care of the business at home while her husband still made a living driving trucks.
When she was in junior high, she was head cheerleader and she always liked dancing when she was younger. She enjoyed baking and even tried cake decorating. She also tried painting and created a few impressive pieces. Reading, playing games, browsing, and shopping on the computer were her recent pastimes.
If you visited her, she would almost always order you a pizza. She loved her kids and grandkids dearly and was very big on Christmas.
People loved to talk to her, because she was always pleasant and positive and didn't complain. She instilled in her boys how to love and be loved.
She was fascinated by the medical aspects of the human body and was very knowledgeable, family would often call her "Doctor Granny" when calling her for advice.
Although she had long been suffering from various health problems, her passing was not expected, as she peacefully left in her sleep.
She was beautiful inside and out and will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
