Charlie Ansell ROCK HILL Mr. Charles Lewis Ansell, 66, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at his home. The funeral will be held at 2pm on Monday, June 29, 2015, at Grace Ministries with Rev. Tim Boan officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park on Hollis Lakes Road. Born in Sykesville, MD, Mr. Ansell was a son of the late Stanley Ansell and the late Carrie Hatfield Ansell. He was a US Army veteran and a charter member of Grace Ministries. He loved the outdoors and nature, enjoyed piddling and working with his hands, and he loved people; he never met a stranger. Surviving are his wife, Myra Montgomery Ansell; his sons, Shane Brian Ansell and his wife, Hollye and Daniel Montgomery and his wife, Karrie, all of Rock Hill; his daughters, Shantel Burrell, of Fredricksburg, VA, and Carrie Leanne Nalley, of Fayetteville; stepmother, Ruth Ellen Ansell; two brothers and four sisters; and ten grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30pm (prior to the service) on Monday, June 29, 2015, at the church.
