In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rickey Yates and her son, Steven Henson.
She is survived by her children, Tiffany Davis (Brandon) and Christopher Faircloth (Shawna); a step daughter Beth Murley (Roger); 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Donnia Wheatley (Don) and Linda Moore (Don), and one brother Jim Muse (Shyne), along with nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Yates was buried in a private service at Henderson City Cemetery in Henderson.
