Surviving are his wife, Marion; 10 children, Mrs. Clarence (Ellen) Brown of Sanford, Douglas Farison of Rosebush, Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Nimphie and Mrs. Marjorie Fruchey of Beaverton, Mrs. Don (Shirley) Foreman of Gladwin, Mrs. John (Ione) Grady of Sault Ste. Marie, Mrs. Joseph (Alta) Hedrich and David Farison of Gladwin. Step-sons James Berthume of Midland and Robert Berthume of Sanford; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Farison of Midland; a sister, Mrs. Fern Pomranky of Midland; three brothers, Homer of Beaverton, Robert of Sanford, and Ernest of Battle Creek; 47 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaverton Church of God, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Lester Kline officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were made in Mathews Funeral Home.
