Born May 3, 1916 in Pigeon, she was the daughter of George and Gertrude Danks Walsh. She live most of her life in Gladwin.
Marion married Elry Farison Dec. 22,1940 in Mt.Pleasant. He preceded her in death in 1973.
She was a member of the Church of Daniels Band, Highwood, and the American Legion Post in Brookings, Ore.
Surviving are three sons, James Berthume of Midland, Robert and wife Ellaween Berthume of Gladwin, and David and wife Alma Farison of Beaverton; one daughter Alta Hedrich of Beaverton; five stepdaughters, Ellen and husband Clarence Ropp of Midland, Leah Ruth Nimphie, and Marjorie and Husband Henry Stone all of Beaverton, Shirley and husband Donald Foreman of Gladwin, and Ione and husband John Grady of Brimley; 48 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by on son, Kenneth Farison in August 1966; one stepson, Douglas Farison in 1975; one brother; and two sisters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday)at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor James Huggard officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Gladwin. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday)
