PLANT CITY, FL - Barbara A. Williams, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born on March 20, 1932 in Jackson, NC.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her lifelong husband Kenneth. She raised her three children in Lincoln, Ne. then moved with Ken to Beaver Crossing, NE. for their retirement years. She cherished her family and spending time with them. She was a dedicated nurse for 30 plus years as a registered nurse at the VA on 70th street in Lincoln, NE. Barbara loved being a nurse and enjoyed gardening, and crafts. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish Barbara's memory are her two sons; David A. Williams and Roger D. Williams, both of Lincoln, NE, one daughter, Anita M. Miller of Dover, FL, daughters-in-law; Kelly and Chris Williams, both of Lincoln, NE, and son-in-law, Michael Miller of Dover, FL.; along with 3 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2 PM at Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, NC with Rev John Thompson officiating.
