William Lewis Moss Tuesday, July 19th, 1949 – Monday, November 7th, 2022

William Lewis Moss, 73, of 351 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg, S.C. passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Jonesville, S.C. on July 19, 1949, he was the son of the late George J. and Molly Scates Moss. He retired from textiles.

Surviving Mr. Moss are four sisters, Joyce Mills of Gaffney, S.C., Doris Dover (Charlie) of Florida, Cheryl Moss (Jack) of Pacolet, S.C., and Virginia Moss (Loyd) of Blacksburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Moss, his brother, James (Jimmy) Moss, his brothers-in-law, Bobby Mills and Hennies Hames; and his first wife, Jessie Mae Moss.

Graveside services will held on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

The family will be at their respective residences.

The family would like to thank Spartanburg Regional Hospice and Upstate Carolina Medical for their care and kindness and a special thanks to his brother-in-law, Loyd V. Moss, for helping care for him in his last days.
