Born Sept. 15, 1941, passed away Nov. 4, 2022.

John worked for Hannah Nickel as a heavy equipment operator in the late 60s to early 80s. He then went to Roseburg Forest Products until he retired in 2003.

He loved hunting and cutting wood with his sons and grandsons. John also enjoyed making music, playing his guitar and singing. He enjoyed walking and riding his bike. His family meant everything to him, we love him so much and he will be missed very deeply. He will forever be in our hearts.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Marie Hatton; parents, Willy and Alma Hatton; four brothers, Daryl Hatton, Carl Ray Hatton, Willie Elmer Hatton, Jr. and Jerry Hatton; grandsons, Tony Dwayne Hatton Jr. and Stephen Ray Hatton and his granddaughters, Amber Star Hatton, and 6 month old infant daughter go Johnny Raye Hatton.

He is survived by his sister, Geneva Thomas, of Roseburg, Oregon, and brother, Jack Hatton, of Sims, Arkansas. He is also survived by his sons, Johnny Ray Hatton, of Myrtle Creek, his son Tony Dwayne Hatton Sr. and wife Debbie Hatton, of Riddle, Terry Hatton and wife Anita, of Myrtle Creek, Dennis Hatton and wife Alicia, of Riddle, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
