Karen S. Hubbard, 68, of Danville, Illinois, passed away at 5:22 am on November 8, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois.

Karen was born on November 15, 1953, the daughter of Fred and Betty (David) Hubbard in Danville, Illinois.

Survivors include her children, Kari (Brian Bartlett) Harden of Danville, Illinois and Nathan (Nicole) Loop of Westville, Illinois; five grandchildren, Ciarra, Kameron, Shirley, Kaden and Adler; three great grandchildren, Lakota, Haiden and Hunter, as well as one brother, Randy (Cathy) Hubbard of Danville, Illinois.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Donald Pollock and one sister, Ruth Loop.

Karen retired from the Illinois Department of Human and Family Services where she worked for many years as a case worker. She enjoyed spending her free time baking, gardening, fishing, shopping, watching the hummingbirds and butterflies in her yard and tending to her cats.
