Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Andre René Bellard, 68. Mr. Bellard, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Wednesday evening, November 9 at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation in Crowley, LA. Rev. Father Brian Harrington, pastor of the church, will conduct the services with entombment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Mausoleum on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include his sons, Jeremy Bellard and wife Dawn of Sunset, LA and Ross Bellard and wife Jamie of Church Point: his daughter, Andrea Matte and husband Shane of Lafayette, LA; two brothers, Wendell "Wendy" Bellard and wife Sandra of Church Point and Kirk "Popcorn" Bellard of Lake Arthur, LA; a sister, Tammy Carriere and husband Mike of Church Point; his grandchildren: Devin, Jordan and Cameron Matte; Jade, Addason, Cayden, John-Ryker and Maverick Bellard; Hunter and Analeigh Zaunbrecher and Addalynne Prejean and a great-grandchild, Oaklynn Matte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Lois DeVillier Bellard and a brother, Rand Bellard.

Employed in Oilfield Sales for a number of years, Mr. Bellard loved hunting and fishing. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him.
