Erik A. Johnson age 63 of Sharon, formerly of Stoughton, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brockton, he was the son to the late Astrid E. (Smith) and Martin W. Johnson, and was a longtime resident of Sharon. He graduated Stoughton High School (Class of 1977) and then went on to proudly serve in the United States Marine Corps.
Erik was a devout Christian, a beloved brother, uncle and friend who will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his sisters:
1. Karen Pearson and her husband John Richard "Dick" of Bridgewater,
2. Heidi Johnson of Stoughton
3. Marta Doherty and her husband Bernard of Plymouth,
Also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends, whom Erik loved dearly.
A Funeral Mass was at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brockton. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Military Cemetery in Bourne.
