She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, a former nurse for Internal Medicine Group where she worked for 10 years, and was a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Richard and Ada Jones Martin; husband, Elonzo Lawson King; daughter, Rosemary King*; sisters, Mary Calvin, Martha Beavers, Dorothy Forester. and Rachel Buckner; and six brothers, Ray Martin, James Martin, Berry Martin, Junior Martin, Cecil Adams, and Davis Martin. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Melvin Tucker of Ringgold, GA; six grandchildren, Walter (Holly) Shelton, Jessica Shelton, Jennifer Weber, Dustin (Ashton) Horton, L Daniel Horton, and Blake Tucker; fifteen great grandchildren; and brother, Don Martin of Chatsworth, GA.
