Kaitlin Brooke Barrick
(January 31, 2002 - February 6, 2006)

Monday, February 6, 2006, 4 year old Kaitlin, was called back to be with her Heavenly Father and Jesus. She passed away due to sudden complications from the stomach flu.

From her earliest moments here on earth, she has always been a joy and a light to all those who knew her. She was a perfect little baby, rarely crying, and always happy. She was a girl on the go. She was running around the house at 8 months and she never slowed down. Kaitlin was never one to take a back seat to anyone or miss out on the fun. She was quick to make friends and got along with boys and girls of any age. Kaitlin loved her family. Her very best friend in the world was her big sister Madison. They did everything together and they stuck up for each other. She wanted to do everything her sister did. She loved to go shopping with her momma, and go camping and riding four-wheelers with her daddy.

Her grandparents, aunts and uncles also played a particularly large part of her life. She loved us and we loved her right back. Kaitlin had a great love and testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ even at such an early age. She loved to say her prayers and learn about Jesus and the Prophets. She was a living example of the principles the Savior taught. She loved everyone she knew, shared her toys, and tried to make everyone happy. Kaitlin was slow to take offense and quick to forgive. She was always a peace-maker, and was no doubt considered a child of God.

Kaitlin is survived by her parents Michael and Amy Barrick, her sister Madison (6) and baby brother Jacob (9 months). Her grandparents are Craig and Kathy Barrick of Cedar City, UT, and Jeff and Shauna Adams of Logandale, NV. Her surviving great-grandparents are Marjorie Petersen and Mervin and Dora Adams all of Logandale, NV, and Oscar Barrick of Hurricane, UT.
