VINSON, Arra OAKES - Mrs. Arra Vinson (nee Oakes), was born near Bentonville, Ark. January 22, 1886 and died at her home, April 20, 1908 at 11:30 a.m. She had been ill for several months during which time she patiently suffered but God has released her from her pain and she has gone to be with Him forever. She was married to Everett Vinson some five years ago. To them was born one child, a little boy now three years of age. Mrs. Vinson had not united with any church but professed faith in Jesus and said that she was ready to die. She left to her friends a beautiful testimony that she trusted in Jesus and was going to rest. She leaves a husband, a little boy, Charlie, father, mother, brothers and sisters to mourn for her. They have suffered great loss in her death but they can take comfort in having done all they could for their dear one during her lingering illness. She is now at rest. May you all meet her where parting comes no more. After the funeral services at the residence we laid her body away in the Oakes Cemetery/ R.E.L. Bearden
