Through her life she fostered many relationships that became more like family than just friends. Her relationships with her girlfriends, the Magnolia's and Bender Babes, were very important to her and resulted in many wonderful memories and shenanigans. During her life she was involved in many activities and organizations. She spent her children's younger years volunteering at school with PTO, leading Girl Scout Troops and volunteering at church and with Hospice.
She loved her grandchildren fiercely and was always there to support them and cheer them on. Alexis was a caregiver at heart and it shown through until her last days.
