MEYERS, CARL J.; age 78, of Rochester Hills, died June 3, 2007. He was born November 5, 1928 in Stoney Creek Village to the late Glenn and Sadie Meyers. He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was the co-owner of En Guarde Fencing since 1972. He was a close friend of Bill W. Beloved husband of Shirley; father of Sandra Meyers of Carpenteria, CA, Rick Luth of Leonard, Jeanine (Leon) Walker of Romulus, Judith (Richard) Woods of Onaway, and James (Sharon) Luth of Macomb; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother of Violet Dunn, Betty Kelly and Norma Baldwin. Funderal service 11 a.m. Thursday at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1892 E. Auburn Road in Auburn Hills. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. in Rochester.
