Walter A. England
Walter Alexander England, a prominent retired farmer of Ijamsville, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital 7 o'clock Wednesday night of a heart attack which culminated an illness of four months. He was 87 years old.

Mr. England was born in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late John W. and Mary Hendry England. He moved to the Ijamsville district at an early age and was engaged in farming until his retirement a number of years ago, but continued to maintain an active interest in livestock and farms. He was a member of Zion Episcopal Church at Urbana.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Luella Hane England, the following children: J. Walter England, Arlington; Mrs. Walton Hendry, Kensington; G. Marion England, Ijamsville; Roland L. England, Upper Marlboro and Edwin H. England, Ijamsville; a sister, Miss Imogene England, Washington; three brothers, Nathan J. England, Frederick; C. Edward England, Rockville and John W. England, Montgomery, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The body is at the funeral home, 8 East Patrick Street where friends may call. Funeral services will be held there Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family requests the omission of flowers. C.E. Cline and Son, Funeral Director.
