John B Ritchotte, 66, of 42 Gurney Avenue, South Meriden, died suddenly this morning at his home.
Born in Fall River, Mass., Mr Ritchotte had lived in Meriden for 50 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels Church and a member of Meriden Aerie 729 Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was employed for 25 years with the New Departure Dividion of General Motors, retiring a year ago.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Mack Ritchotte; two sons, Warren A Ritchotte of Meriden, and William G. Ritchotte of California; two daughters, Mrs Edward Borak, and Mrs Alvin Hannah, both of this city; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Lillian Demers, of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Wednesday from John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., and at Holy Angels Church. Burial in Sacred Heart.

John B. Ritchotte - The funeral of John B Ritchotte, of 42 Gurney Ave., South Meriden, was held Wednesday from the John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home and at Holy Angels Church. The Rev. Stephen L. Crowley, of St. Bridget's Church, Cheshire, a nephew of Mr Ritchotte, was celebrant of the requiem high mass. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery where Father Crowley officiated assisted by the Rev. Albert G. Healey.
