Mr. Kenneth L. Rowles, age 83 years, died Friday, November 6, 1987 at Bay City Medical Center. He was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on July 15, 1904, and had resided in Bay City for the past 10 years. Mr. Rowles retired as an engineer from the Chrysler Corporation in 1969 after 37 years of service. On August 18, 1928, he married Mildred Beatrice Hunterallen (sp?). She survives his passing along with a daughter, Mrs. Donna Jean Bascom of Bay City; and 2 grandsons, Kirk E. Bascom of Bay City and Mark K. Bascom and his wife, Barbara, of Lansing. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Norman B. Rowles of Portland, Oregon, and Claude Rowles of Clearwater, Florida. Mr. Rowles was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist's Men's Club. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Penzien Funeral Home. Rev. Carter Preston will officiate with interment in the White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial tributes for the First United Methodist Church will be available at the Funeral Home.
