Christina Buckhalt Lampert, aged 38, of Hiawassee, passed away on January 25, 2022. She passed away peacefully in her sleep following a short period of illness. Christina was born on December 27, 1983, in Homestead, FL, to her loving parents Allen and Debra Buckhalt. She was welcomed as the only daughter into a family of brothers. Christina enjoyed a life filled with love, joy, and accomplishment. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and caregiver. She met the love of her life, Jason Lampert, when she was 14 and they later married and enjoyed 7 happy years together. Her union with Jason also united her with her step-daughter, Cassady Lampert. This marriage was blessed with the other great love of Christina's life, her daughter, Madalynn. For every day of Madalynn's 9 years, she and her mother were the light in each other's lives. This devotion to her daughter came naturally to Christina as she was equally devoted to her own parents. A day did not pass that Christina did not talk to her mother and they would share the events of their day so that they would feel the mother-daughter bond they had always had. Christina was very proud of herself when she went back to school and earned her Medical Assistant's certification. After graduating, she joined the Hiawassee Family Practice as the MA to Ray Townsend. She loved working with the patients and she always said she learned something new every day. Her gentle touch and warm smile endeared her to her patients. Because of her too early departure from this life she is survived by many of her closest relatives and friends. These include her husband, Jason Lampert, her daughters, Madalynn and Cassady Lampert, her mother and father, Allen and Debra Buckhalt, her brothers, Timmy and JT, Mikah her grand dog, and many relatives and friends.
