Charles "Crackerman" R. Ackerman, 77 of Barling, AR. Passed away November 16, 2022 after a tough battle with cancer.
Charley was born on January 14, 1945 to Ed & Lottie (Brewer) Ackerman.
He was raised and spent his life in Oklahoma. Charley was a lineman with the co-op in Oklahoma for over 20 years. He married the love of his life Gloria on June 2, 1964, to this marriage they had one son Kenton. They enjoyed traveling to Arkansas and exploring the scenery and caves, so much that after they retired they moved to Barling, AR. Charley had a large collection of pocket knives, he was a loving, caring, and always reminding people what is most important in life... family.
Charley is survived by his son Kenton Ackerman of Creedmoor, NC., grandchildren Blake & Kenna Ackerman, friend Mariah Clark, siblings Sue Neal, Jerry Ackerman, many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Ackerman and parents.
