Mary Jane Jenkins Gift passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday March 13, 2019 She was 86. She was the wife of Ted Gift. They were married 67 years.
Jane was born in Hill City, Kansas June 20, 1932 to Earl and Gladys Jenkins. She lived in several states as a child.
Jane attended Sweet Home High School where she met the love of her life, Ted. They were married on November 8, 1951. They had 3 daughters. Jane worked retail most of her working career.
In 1981 they moved to Crescent City, California where they started a Day Care. She loved that. She retired in 1995.
They built their dream home and moved back to their beloved Oregon.
Jane lived with Ted at Churchill Estates for the last 5 years. She enjoyed her stay there, staying active with their crafts and other programs.
Jane never met a stranger and was the "Unofficial" greeter for the place. She truly loved people.
She is survived by her husband Ted Gift, her daughters Christina Kivela (Jerry), Vicki Bivens (Kenny) .
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, their spouses,19 great-grandchildren, their spouses, 12 great-great-grandchildren and her brother Joe Jenkins of Sweet Home.
