Dennis Earl Kinder, 80, of Baytown, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at his residence.

Dennis was born April 4, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents; Eddie and Irene Hayden Kinder and has resided in Baytown for 54 years. He was a graduate of South High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, received BSA Explorer Silver Award, received multiple associate degrees and other certificates from Lee College, veteran of the US Army, a retired millwright from KBR, Brown & Root, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dennis also enjoyed bee keeping, fishing, tanning hides, and motorcycles.

Mr. Kinder was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Kenneth Kinder and Darrell Kinder.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Rebecca Johnson Kinder, children: Michael Kinder and wife Lisa, Daniel Kinder and wife Tammy, Kimberly Baiata and husband Salvatore, Wesley Kinder and wife Christina, Kyle Kinder and wife Kam, Steven Kinder and wife Stephanie, and Scott Kinder, brother: Donald Kinder, sister: Peggy Gyldenege, grandchildren: Hunter and wife Kaitlyn, Brayden, Adam, Lauren, Drayton, Drocklin, Dryson, Darlissa, Drinnley, Lanie, Hanna, Jacob, Lucas, Kai, Karys, Mailee, Kane, and Korben, great-grandchildren: Ryder, Huntley, Ransym, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation with family will be held at 9:00 a.m. and Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1010 Birdsong in Baytown. Private family interment will be held at Sterling White Cemetery in Highlands.
