Donald Dean Smith, 85 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his home with family by his side. He was born December 2, 1936 in Huntsville, Arkansas to his parents, Caleb Smith and Lucy (Howard) Mears Smith. He later married Leota Joyce Smith and they shared in over 63 wonderful years together before her passing in 2020.
Donald is survived by his two sons, Donnie Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ronnie Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three siblings, Eugene Smith of Seattle, Washington, Faye Scroggins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and EC Smith of Springdale, Arkansas; one grandson, Jessie Dean Sowers; one great-granddaughter; and many friends and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Lucy Smith; his wife, Joyce Smith; his daughter, Joy Smith and his sister, Lucille Fullerton.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, November 25th, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
