KEVIN CORNWELL OBITUARY
CORNWELL - Kevin P.
67, of Holly Ridge, N.C, died peacefully in his home on Friday, November 18, 2022, after a long illness. Kevin grew up in Kenmore, N.Y, and graduated from Kenmore West High School in 1973. He moved to San Diego, CA in 1977, a decision he made after experiencing the "Blizzard that Buried Buffalo". In San Diego he started a prominent accounting business, met his wife Rita George, and had two daughters. He retired to Holly Ridge, N.C. with his family in 2021. He is survived by his wife Rita (George) Cornwell (Holly Ridge N.C.), his two daughters Kristen Cornwell (Holly Ridge, N.C.), and Michelle (Darius) Sonya (Holly Ridge, N.C.), three grandchildren, Aedan, Chandler, and Violet, his parents James F. and A. Carol Cornwell (Kenmore, N.Y.), three brothers and one sister, James R. Cornwell (Cheryl) (Amherst, N.Y.), W. Gregory Cornwell (Diane) (Eugene, OR), Cynthia A. Rymer (Harold) (Richmond, VA), and David B. Cornwell (Linda) (Houston TX), and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be determined by the family. To honor Kevin's strong loving spirit, and his courageous fight against his illnesses, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the National Ataxia Foundation.
