at this time over 70 years of age. In his father's will specific instructions are
given that his wife, Elizabeth, is to lie sole guardian and have power to apprentice his son, John. His name is mentioned in his brother Conrad's will in 1760. He died in 1768, as his portion of his father's estate was given to Edward, Samuel and Isaac, as per "final settlement of the estate of Jacob Scheimer, deceased. May 14th, 1768."
