Natividad P. "Nate" Aguayo, 73, of Palatka, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at his home after a long illness.
The Gurabo, Puerto Rico, native had lived in Interlachen and Palatka for the past 26 years, coming from Hammonton, N.J. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Interlachen and worked as a machine operator for 16 years at D.S.I. Forms, Inc. in Palatka. He was a member of AARP and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rose Aguayo of Palatka; three daughters, Sonia Moore of Fort Pierce, Gladys Aguayo of Palatka and Maria Soto of Passaic, N.J.; two sons, Natividad Aguayo Jr. and Gilbert Aguayo, both of Palatka; sister, Silvana Aguayo of Puerto Rico; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday (today), at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka, with Father Ignatius Plathanam officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
