Jean R. Baumgardner was born September 11, 1936 in Normal, IL, the daughter of Gordon and Mary Law Isham.

She married Jackie E. (Jack) Baumgardner in Springfield, IL on March 20, 1955 who preceded her in death in 2012. They moved to Greendale, WI in 2009. Jean was middle school secretary in Springfield for 37 years.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Mary), grandchildren Mark (Monica) Baumgardner, Anne (Andrew) Jones, Katie (Paul, deceased) Gleason, Jean Baumgardner, Fr. John Baumgardner, Fr. Nicholas Baumgardner, Andrew Baumgardner, brother William (Carolyn) Isham, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Brother James Isham preceded her in death.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday, December 2, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Greenfield, WI. visitation 9:45 AM- 10:45 AM prior to Mass. Internment Service on Saturday, December 3, 11 AM at Oak Ridge Cemetery Chapel, Springfield, IL.

Family expresses deep gratitude and thanks to Hales Corners Care Center staff for loving and compassionate care toward Jean and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Parish, St. Francis de Sales Seminary, or Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
