August Ferdinand Huhn (22 June 1807 Riga - 26 October 1871 Tallinn ) was an Estonian clergyman.

August Ferdinand Huhn studied at the normal school in Riga, and from 1822 to 1825 at the Jelgava gymnasium. In the years 1826–1829, he studied at the Faculty of Religion of the University of Tartu.

In the years 1829-1831, he worked as a home teacher in Riga. In the years 1831-1832, he was the head teacher of ancient languages ​​and religious education at Tallinn normal school. He was installed as a teacher on July 25, 1832 .

A.F. Huhn was the assistant teacher of Tallinn Oleviste Church in the years 1832-1871 (called on May 29, 1832). In the years 1833-1834, he was also a teacher at the Linna Girls' Gymnasium, in the years 1834-1860, he was the head teacher of religious education, a teacher of Greek and Hebrew (Gymnas. Consist-Rath.). In 1870, he gave up the offered post of chief pastor and superintendent in Tallinn.

A.F. Huhn was a committee member of the Tallinn Bible Society from 1841; From June 22, 1842, he was a member of the Estonian Literary Association. He published a lot of spiritual literature in German: sermons, catechism explanations, etc. Later, he moved away from the views of his teacher Karl Gottlob Sonntag's religious rationalism. Huhn was considered a remarkable preacher—a revivalist whose influence extended beyond the congregation.
