She was a schoolteacher for 15 years and then spent 30 years working in the Human Resources Department of East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Malinda was a loving homemaker and enjoyed sending her family timely birthday and seasonal cards in the mail, decorating for the holidays, and raising plants.
Malinda is survived by her husband, John Aaron of Lindale; sons, Carlton Cullins and wife, Erica Ellis of Austin and Luke Cullins and wife, Rhiannon Dillon of Austin; brother, John Landrem Jr and wife Deborah of Baton Rouge; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
