Graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, 1883.

For several years he worked for the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific railroads.

In 1890, he was ordained an Episcopal minister.

His parents were Jasper Ewing Brady (Died in 1899); & Harriet Cora Townsend.

His first wife was Clarissa Sydney Guthrie.

His second wife was Mary Barrett.
