William H. Paul , of Turner Street in Plymouth died Wednesday at Wilkes-Barre

General HospitalBorn Sept. 25, 1911, in Shamokin, he was a son of the late William F. and Sarah (Lanyon) Paul , and attended Plymouth schools.

He was employed as a shaft engineer at various anthracite mines in the area. He was also employed as an electrician by Kingston Electric.

He was a member of Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church in Plymouth. He served as a trustee at the church and was a choir member, treasurer of the Sunday school and a member of the Men's Class.

He was a member of Plymouth Lodge 332, F&AM, and a veteran member of Plymouth Fire Co. No. 1, where he served three terms as fire chief. He was also a member of the Luzerne County Sunday School Association and the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Margaret Sims; and sister, Burdella Honeywell.

Surviving are his daughter, Ruth Jones, Cranford, N.J.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sister, Ruth Doll, Lakehurst, N.J.; and brother, Melvin, Bradenton, Fla.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Williams Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Ronald Gottstein officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Hanover Township.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Plymouth Lodge 332, F&AM will conduct Masonic services at 8 p.m. this evening.

Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, or Plymouth Fire Co. No. 1 on Gaylord Avenue.
