William Abrams, San Pedro real estate broker, died yesterday in a Long Beach sanitarium. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Furst Christian church, with the Rev. Earl C. Eppert officiating. Private cremation will be at Pacific Crest crematory.
Mr. Abrams, a native [former resident] of Canada, came here 18 years ago to engage in real estate with his son-in-law, Fred Peacock. He resided at 1265 W. Sixteenth st. He was well known in real estate circles and in First Christian church work, having been an elder emeritus of the church holding a life membership. He also was a past member of the Civitan club.
Mr. Abrams leaves the widow, Marie; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Peacock, San Pedro; Mrs. M.T. Jeffery, San Pedro; Mrs. Clifford E. Schink, Palo Alto; four sons, O. Paul and Alfred J., San Pedro; Peter, Glendale; William, Long Beach; 21 grandchildren, and three sisters and two brothers, the latter five relatives living in Canada. Mr. Abrams was 67.
